About Us
Southland products was founded in 1989 by Gordon Hartley and his wife Dixie. Gordon supervised the mass rearing of over twenty insect species at one of the largest USDA insect facilities for over twenty years.
Gordon and wife with the assistance of one additional person ran the business until 2008. At that time Rhonda Martin was hired. Rhonda has extensive experience in marketing and customer relations. As the business continued to grow an additional three employees have been hired. Shipments now go out to every state in the USA and to all industrialized countries internationality. It is the goal of Southland Products to provide insect diets that work at the best possible price and delivered on schedule.
